Wednesday’s Alumni Spotlight is Wendy (Gahr) Noll!

Wendy graduated from ECCHS in 1987. She earned her B.S. in Agriculture with a concentration in Environmental Science from West Virginia University.

Wendy has been employed as a Soil Scientist and GIS Specialist for the USDA – Natural Resources Conservation Service for 21 years. Her current assignment is with the Soil and Plant Science Division as the GIS Specialist for Soil Survey Region 6. She lives in Morgantown, WV with her husband Joe and their 7 year old Lab / Pitt bull mix named Charlotte and 19 year old cat, Mom.

Wendy is a step mother to 1, Jocelyn. She has blessed their family with a wonderful son-in-law and 3 grand children aged 6, 4 and 2.

“I am fortunate to have been blessed with 12 years of Catholic education,” said Wendy. “Small classes at St. Boniface from Grades 1 – 8 and 4 years at ECCHS gave me a solid education. My love for science and math was fueled by teachers Mrs. Eleanore Herbstritt, Mr. Greg Snelick and Fr. Chris Hamlett.”
