Friday’s Alumni Spotlight!

Erin is a 2006 ECCHS Graduate. She received her B.S. in Chemistry from Saint Vincent College (2010) and Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Kentucky (2016).

Current position: Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Centre College in Kentucky (starting her 5th year)

“My love for chemistry started while I was attending ECC,” said Erin. “I also learned the value of small class sizes and the importance of being part of a close community. I don’t think I would be a chemistry professor at a small liberal arts college if it wasn’t for my educational experiences that started with ECC. I don’t get to come back often but I always try to make it back for the annual girls soccer alumni game!”
