Last week, the students in Mrs. Roberts’s four-year-old preschool class at St. Marys Catholic Elementary talked about different types of weather. One day was all about snow – how fitting!

The students made snowstorms in a bag, had a snowball fight in gym class, and used iPads to practice dressing for the weather.

They also talked about how polar animals stay warm and swim in icy waters. The students each took turns putting one of their fingers in the icy water – brrr! Then, they submerged their fingers that were covered in “blubber” (Crisco) in the water to compare. Ah, much better!
