Last week, the ECCSS PTO held its annual Christmas Store and Auction at St. Marys Catholic Elementary School. The Store gives students a chance to shop for Christmas gifts for their family members. After their shopping is finished, the students are able to grab some snacks before heading back to their classrooms.The Auction is a basket raffle for the students, and they are invited to take chances on the many items that are donated by our generous community for a nominal fee. As you can imagine, the atmosphere was electric as the winners were announced!
The students had a fun time getting into the spirit of the holidays while also learning the important lesson that it’s better to give than to receive.
