SMCES STEM Challenge

Ms. Wendel’s 2nd grade class at St. Marys Catholic Elementary School recently learned about the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Students used a STEM activity with the goal to keep their “floats” standing upright just like they do in the parade. Through trial and error students fixed their float as needed till they successfully stood upright.
