ECCSS Families, Today the Saint Marys Area School District announced some significant changes in their mode of instruction at their schools. All school buildings operated by St. Marys Area School District will close and move to remote instruction starting Wednesday, November 18 through Tuesday, November 24. Then beginning December 2, Saint Marys Schools will return using a hybrid model.

At the current time, ECCSS Schools are not planning any change in their instructional model. ECCSS plans to continue with 5 day-per-week face-to-face instruction, following the published school calendar. If your child utilizes Saint Marys Area School District transportation, busses will continue to pick up your child utilizing the current bus schedule for the next few days. Saint Marys Area is planning to create a modified transportation schedule that will be utilized on days when St. Marys Area School District students are attending remotely and ECCSS students are attending class in-person. We will forward that transportation schedule to you as soon as we receive it.

This is a highly fluid situation and is subject to change quickly if there are additional positive cases in our school buildings. If there are any changes in our status, we will pass them along to as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your ongoing support of ECCSS schools please be assured of our continued prayers for the health and safety of your family at home and our entire school family.

**Special Note for Wednesday, November 18** St. Marys Area has alerted us that because there will be limited number of students on school busses, that the busses will likely be running ahead of schedule. Please make sure your child is at their bus stop in advance of their normal pick-up time.
