Pictured in the above photo are representatives from CNB Bank presenting a contribution through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit program (EITC) to the Elk County Catholic School System. The STAR Foundation, a non-profit entity created by the Diocese of Erie, receives funds through the EITC program and allows businesses to make contributions for educational purposes to the school of their choice.

Through this donation, scholarship funds will be made available to students in need that attend Elk County Catholic Schools. These contributions are a win for both the participating businesses and the schools. The designated school receives 100% of the contribution and the business receives a tax credit against state income taxes for up to as much as 90% of the contribution. CNB Bank is proud to support local organizations that share in its mission of helping to improve the lives of its neighbors and their organizations.
