Pictured is Mrs. Roberts Kindergarten class at Saint Marys Catholic Elementary during Music Class. They were learning about the different ways a percussion instrument can be played, such as “strike”, “scrape”, or “shake”. Each student picked their own percussion instrument and had to demonstrate how it is played and what makes it a percussion instrument. The drum takes a “strike”, but the xylophone can take a “strike” OR a “scrape”.
