SMCES welcomes new teachers and new position changes.

Mrs. Richelle Gradl will be teaching Preschool Pre-3 & Pre-4 am and pm classes this year at SMCES.
Mrs. Gradl is a native of St. Mary’s and ECCHS Alumni. She holds a Bachelors from IUP in Child and Family Development and her Masters from Carlow University in Mental Health Counseling. When not teaching Richelle enjoys camping and monster truck shows!

Mrs. Jamie Williams will be teaching 4th grade this year at SMCES.
Mrs. Williams is a native of Johnsonburg and ECCHS Alumni. She is a graduate of Gannon University in Elementary Education. When not teaching Mrs. Williams enjoys spending time with her family which consists of her three children Franco, Bo, and Ana along with her faith, and love of basketball. Mrs. Williams celebrates her 20th year teaching and we couldn’t be more excited for her to be apart of the ECCSS family!

SMCES would like to welcome Kaitlyn Wendel. Ms. Wendel will be teaching 2nd grade this year.
Ms. Wendel is a native of St. Marys and a graduate of Pitt Bradford in early education. Kaitlyn worked with Pre-K students at Cen-Clear. When not teaching Kaitlyn enjoys running and is currently training for a 5k!

A familiar face at SMCES’s Preschool in a new role!
Mrs. Carmen Kamats will be SMCES’s Pre-4 all-day Preschool teacher this year. Mrs. Kamats has worked as a preschool aide at SMCES for the last 13 years. She is a native of Ozark, Alabama and when not teaching enjoys reading, crafts, & family.

Mrs. Deb Nunamaker will be a preschool aide this year at SMCES for pre-3 pm and pre-4 am classes.
Mrs. Nunmaker is a native of Kersey and holds her bachelor’s in early childhood education from Clarion University. She also taught 2nd and preschool for 9 years at St. Boniface Catholic School in Kersey.

Mrs. Jessica Shirey will be a preschool aide this year at SMCES for pre-4 (3 days/wk) am and pm and pre-3 am classes.
Mrs. Shirey is a native of EuClair, PA and holds her Masters in Applied Developmental Psychology from The University of Pittsburgh. She also worked for 6 years for the University’s Office of Child Development.
Mrs. Shirey has four children at SMCES and is the current PTO President for ECCSS.
