Recently, a group of St. Leo STEM students participated in the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” video contest. The contest was comprised of teams from Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter counties and documented the importance of manufacturing in our area. Their video featured GrafTech International in St. Marys.
At the contest awards ceremony, St. Leo School was presented with the Outstanding Outreach Plan award. This award was given to the team whose one-page summary creatively described the target customers and district outreach plan. It included a detailed timeline as well as the marketing resources the school utilized. “It was obvious the team worked hard on their plan,” remarked the awards presenter.
Congratulations on this honor, St. Leo! You did a fantastic job!
