Recently, the kindergarten students at St. Marys Catholic Elementary participated in a Hop-A-Thon to benefit muscular dystrophy. This annual event involved each student hopping for a two-minute period. The fourth-graders also assisted with the activity by counting their younger peers hops.
In the end, the students’ efforts raised $937 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Western Pennsylvania. Wow! Way to go, kiddos!
