While sixth graders were on their tubing trip a few weeks ago, the remaining students at St. Marys Catholic Middle School competed in an engineering challenge presented by Mr. Schneider. Their task was to design the tallest structure they could using just spaghetti noodles, mini marshmallows, and eight jumbo marshmallows. The teams worked hard and had a blast designing and creating their towers; the winning team’s measured 31.5 inches tall!
