Free/reduced price lunches are available for families who qualify.
The rates for a cafeteria meal per day are as follows:
Full Day Kindergarten – $2.65 for lunch and snack time drink
Half Day Kindergarten (just juice) – $0.30
Elementary (Grades 1 – 5) – $ 2.35

8:30 a.m. – 3:05 p.m.
Doors open at 8:05 a.m.
8:30 – 11 a.m.
Two-Hour Delay Times: 10:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Kindergarten – Three/year
Grades 1 – 5 – Four/year
Class Size Policy
Recognizing that students’ needs vary, our school does everything possible to limit class size to 20 or less in the primary grades (K – 2) and 25 or less in the intermediate grades (3 – 5).
Average Class Size
Busing is free of charge if a student lives at least one mile from the elementary school.
Latch Key Program
Before-school child care for students enrolled at SMCES is available on a daily basis for a nominal fee.
