ECCHS Students Attend Regional Band Festival

Rachel and Ann Regionals 13Two Elk County Catholic High School Students will be attending PMEA’s Regional Band Festival. Rachel Glatt and Ann Oridway placed in the upper half of their section during auditions, at the District Band Festival held this past January. Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) serves the schools and communities in Northwestern Pennsylvania, offering opportunities for students to be challenged with the next level of performance.

Rachel is a Junior will be playing the Bb Clarinet. She has been involved with band for 7 years.  Rachel is the daughter of Sam and Barb Glatt.  Ann is the daughter of Bob and Rita Ordiway  and is a Sophamore at ECCHS.  He has been involved with band for 6 year and will be playing Bass Clarinet.

This year’s Regional Band Festival will be held at Meadville High School from March 7 and will conclude on Saturday  March 9th with a concert at 11:30 am.  Dr. Adam Brennan., from Mansfield University will be the guest conductor.
