Preschool and 5th Grade Christmas Programs

The preschool and 5th grade students at St. Marys Catholic Elementary have been working hard on preparing for their upcoming Christmas programs!

The 5th graders will present “Fifth Grade Scrooge” on Friday, December 7 at 1 p.m. The story opens as David, a fifth grader who broke his foot, is being punished by his parents for ruining their Christmas vacation plans. David is sad and grumpy because his Christmas is spoiled. Later, at the final rehearsal of his school Christmas play, David is knocked out by a piece of scenery that is being carried by his teacher, Mrs. Hearting. In his coma, David is visited by Mr. Bah T. Humbug, Mrs. Roberta Goodgirl, and his fifth grade classmates. As David comes out of his coma, he realizes he was wrong to be angry and what the true meaning of Christmas really is.

In addition, the Pre-4 students will present their Christmas concert on Thursday, December 13 at 9 a.m.

All are welcome to attend the programs!

Also, Clearfield’s WOKW radio station will record both of our Christmas programs and will broadcast them on air between December 24-25. Be sure to listen!
